Kelly, Remmel & Zimmerman is pleased to announce that Sanchita Mukherjee has joined the firm.
Sanchita is a recent graduate from the University of Maine School of Law where she earned a Certificate in Environmental and Oceans Law with Distinction. While in law school, Sanchita was the Roger Putnam Public Interest Fellow at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, served as an editor on the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal, and was a competition-winner on the school’s Moot Court Team. She also chaired the Maine Association of Public Interest Law (MAPIL) and was a member of the Multi-Cultural Law Society. Sanchita completed an externship with the American Civil Liberties Union of Maine and an internship with the Office of the Federal Defender for the State of Maine. She was recognized as a Katahdin Law Student Honoree for her pro bono service and also received the National Association of Women Lawyers Outstanding Law Student Award.
Sanchita will bring strong advocacy and litigation skills to our firm and our clients. KRZ is honored that Sanchita has chosen to begin her legal career with the firm.
