Julius Ciembroniewicz

Julius represents hospitals, health care networks, colleges and other institutional providers on a wide variety of corporate and business matters, with an emphasis on advising rural hospitals and non-profit organizations with regard to network and provider contracting, Certificate of Need, tax-exempt bond financing, strategic planning and development, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and legislative services. Julius has extensive experience and expertise negotiating complex corporate contracting matters. Julius regularly represents clients in administrative appeals of reimbursement matters and State contract awards.

Julius has more than 20 years of experience as a business lawyer and health law strategist. Prior to joining Kelly, Remmel & Zimmerman, Julius served as managing law partner in a firm that specialized exclusively in health law.

As a business lawyer, he represents hospitals, colleges and other institutional providers as well as borrowers in a wide variety of real estate, debt and equity financing transactions.

Prior to practicing law, Julius served as an intern for Judge Courtland Perry of the Maine District Court (1995), Chief Judge Kirk Studstrup of the Maine District Court (1995) and Chief Justice Daniel E. Wathen of the Supreme Judicial Court of Maine (1997). Julius was also an officer in the commercial workout division at Key Bank of Maine.

Julius received his undergraduate degree from Connecticut College (1990), and a J.D., from University of New Hampshire School of Law (1997). Julius also attended the London School of Economics in London, England.

Julius has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Health Care Law since 2007.
